My Name is Jon Beilke and this is my personal website containing my blog and Flickr photostream.
Moongrabber was a name that I came up with referring to reaching for the moon or doing the impossible.
In High School I had a large interest in Computers and Computer Hardware, and after graduating from Moundsview High School in 2004 I attended Michigan Technological University for Computer Engineering.
Dissatisfied with what I was learning in Michigan, I transferred to Brown College , where I started work on a degree in Digital Photography. After a little over a year in the Digital Photography program at Brown I transferred into the Visual Communications program where I graduated with an Associates Degree in December 2007.
I have 5+ years of experience in Web and Graphic Design using the Adobe Creative Suite of Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.), as well as 4+ years of experience in both Film and Digital Photography.
