Moongrabber was a name that I came up with referring to reaching for the moon or doing the impossible.

In High School I had a large interest in Computers and Computer Hardware, and after graduating from Moundsview High School in 2004 I attended Michigan Technological University for Computer Engineering.

In 2006 I transferred to Brown College , where I started work on a degree in Digital Photography. After a little over a year in the Digital Photography program at Brown, I changed to the Visual Communications program, where I graduated with an Associates Degree in December 2007.

After graduation I began working at RAVE Sports, as their Visual Communications Specialist. I was in charge of Graphic Design, including: product design, packaging design, catalog and other promotional materials. I was also responsible for the design, development, and improvement of the RAVE Sports website, and the company’s online presence.

In 2010 I moved on to Active Sports Inc, where I now lead the web team in developing and maintaining Active Sports’ current E-Commerce sites (5+ different sites including: the-house.com, proboardshop.com and wakeside.com). I also have an active role in the analysis and optimization of Active Sports’ websites using a variety of tools including Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Website Optimizer, and Active Sports’ proprietary E-Commerce system.

I have 9+ years of experience in Web Development, 5+ years of experience in Graphic Design, and 8+ years of experience in both Film and Digital Photography.
