I’ve had more than one person ask me about using Google’s Services (Gmail, Google Calendar, Contacts, etc.), and one thing that seems to keep coming up is how to protect and backup your data in case anything happens to it.
Alright, yesterday I posted a brief introduction into my idea for this series of posts, and today is the first day to dig in. Today was a big day for me as I made sure that all of the sites were listed in Google Webmaster Tools, Yahoo Site Explorer, and Live Webmasters with up to date sitemaps and site submissions. I have also started posting on multiple different forums with a new signature that advertises my sites:
I just recently finished building Gamer Junkie – www.gamer-junkie.com, and wanted to write about my experiences in developing and driving traffic to the site. I am also including 2 of my other sites, My blog – www.moongrabber.com, and My professional site – www.jbdesignandphoto.com
Well after working on this project for the last few weeks I’m finally satisfied enough to open the site to the general public. Gamer Junkie is a site for news and information on upcoming and popular video games. The Gamer Junkie Forums is a place to discuss the latest and greatest video games.
